You are not alone and it's OK to grieve!

Hi, I'm LeeAnn....welcome to my website.

Do I know how you feel?

Well, everyone is different, and everyone grieves differently, for different lengths of time, and at different intensities. And it's all OK. But I have definitely been through losing canine friends, yes.

Have you been accused of "taking it too hard"?  Or told to "move on and get over it?" I was!

In mourning Allie, a chocolate Labrador retriever, I created this website, which I work on updating and improving every day. Because I so love dogs, and empathize so strongly with humans who have lost them or are about to, I am dedicated to this site and the people who visit it.  I promise to make it better and better.

Get to know me...click on the "About Me" page!

On this website you will find understanding, peace, advice, sometimes tears, stories, comfort and non-judgment.

And here, it's perfectly OK to mourn for as long as you like.  It's OK to cry, and no one will mind at all.

If your dog has died, you are welcome here.

If your dog is sick, perhaps dying, you need solace and you are welcome here.

If you have had to give up your beloved dog due to a foreclosure, eviction or military service; I feel for you, and you are welcome here with open arms. This is happening more and more these days and I know it is heartbreaking.

If your dog is lost; you are welcome here.

You will also find a blog here, articles to read, a page with memorials, and you can read a romance novel (in installments!) that features dogs as well as humans. (the people are involved in romances, not the dogs!) The best characters in real life have dogs, so why shouldn't book characters have dogs too?  And why shouldn't they play a big part in the story, just as they do in our real lives?

This isn't the most sophisticated website out there, and it's not run by a whole impersonal team, (just by me!) but you won't find many people who care about what you are going through as much as I do!
